Triangle Has Scholarship Opportunity for Teachers, Youth Clubs, and Students

Triangle Communications recognizes that recruiting and retaining good, quality educators in rural schools is a significant problem in Montana. To help address the issue, Triangle is excited to provide this opportunity for teachers. Our Teacher Appreciation Program awards educators funds that can be used for items or expenses that are the biggest priority for the awardee.

Award Amounts:

1st Place - $2,500

2nd Place - $2,000

3rd Place - $1,000

Additional $1,000 awards may be made each year depending on applications received.

Teacher Appreciation Program Requirements:

-Teach in a B or smaller school district

-Teacher does not have to be a member or member-dependent

-Teach in a school district served by Triangle Communications

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 1.

In addition, Triangle is proud to support our area youth by providing up to 37 high school and up to 6 college scholarship opportunities. To be eligible, applicant must be a subscriber or a dependent of a subscriber who receives landline telephone, broadband or mobile telephone service from us. Eligible applicants must be pursuing their first degree or certificate.

The deadline to apply is April 1.

Triangle’s partnership with the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) gives students the opportunity to receive a scholarship of up to $2,500. Applicants will need to create an account with FRS and then apply for the scholarship online. The deadline to apply is February 8.

The Triangle Communications Youth Club/Organization Technology Grant program offers monetary support to youth clubs/organizations in the Triangle service area.

-4-H, FFA, BPA, FCCLA, Skills USA, Boys & Girls Club & more are eligible.

-Funds can be used for Science, Technology, Engineering or Math related projects.

-Local chapter of club/organization must have majority of it's members within our service area.

-Up to $500 Grants are available.

Deadline is February 15.
