Each year the Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club sponsors the Christmas Merchant Barrel Decorating Contest. They are judged be a panel of judges on originality, overall design, theme creativity and lighting.
This year 1st Place $100: Certificate went to the Liquor Haven sponsored by Westside Self Service for the "Bourbon Makes Reindeer Fly" barrel.
2nd Place $75 Certificate went to Bank of Malta sponsored by Tin Cup Bar and Grill for their "Christmas Angels" barrel.
3nd Place $50 Certificate went to Moore's Printing sponsored by Malta Dairy Queen for the Holly Jolly Snowman" barrel....
