Alvina Doucette passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025 at Rivers Bend in Malta.

Alvina Marion Heidt was born November 17, 1931 in New England, ND to Frank and Katie Heidt. She was the third of nine children.

The family moved to Corvallis, MT in 1936 away from the Dustbowl and to a better life. Like all farm kids, Alvina worked in the sugar beet fields, did chores and cared for the younger ones.
