Dodson News for September 13, 2017

Selma Miller of Malta and Esther Miller of Folsom, Calif. enjoyed lunch with Edward and Polly Solberg last Tuesday.

Polly and Edward were in Chinook on Thursday to visit the dentist.

The community was saddened to hear that Roger Ereaux had passed away and so soon after his brother Byron had passed. His wake was on Sunday Sept. 3rd with his funeral on Labor Day, Sept 4th. Condolences are sent to all the families.

Bill Henry stopped at his mom's, Dora Henry, on Friday on his way home to Havre from a job.

Jim and Dee Shettel attended the Junior High Football games in Malta on Saturday.

Last weekend visitors at the Wink Cole home were Matthew Cole and sons Conner and Cooper, and also Logan Handley, all of Billings. All were invited to Steve Cole's in Malta for Saturday evening supper and were joined by Jeff and Julie Cole of Glasgow. On Sunday, TaChante Cole came to Dodson to visit and then took Logan and Maycee Handley and Conner Cole to Malta for pizza. Matt and boys went back to Billings on Monday. Logan and Maycee joined their dad in Malta and they also returned to Billings.

Mal and Art Longpre's daughter Berniece Morgan passed away this week and her funeral and a reception was held in Dodson on Tuesday and she was taken to Zortman for burial. The ladies of the Catholic and Lutheran churches served the luncheon. We extend condolences to all her family.

Birthdays for these first two weeks in September include Patti Dolphay, and Barb Tremblay, Happy belated Birthday girls and to all others celebrating a birthday now.

There's nothing wrong with teenagers that reasoning with them won't aggravate.

Have a wonderful week and stay thankful we are still pretty smoke free, not like a good portion of our state. And a little prayer for some rain might help!
