    On Wednesday, April 8, at the Annual Women of Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (WELCA ) no host luncheon, Ruth Flansaas was honored as a "Faithful Quilter." Ruth and John moved from their Loring farm into Malta and she started the Hands All Around quilting club in their basement. Her first quilt was made with the help of Grace Simser. It took them two days to cut out a Double Wedding Ring scrap quilt to make a 50th wedding anniversary gift for her parents, Marion & Iva Runnion. Sheila...

    1 Years of Phillips County Fair, Past to Present John G. Osmundson, Poultry Judge from Richey, MT traveled to Dodson during the 1920's. He raised turkeys, ducks and chickens. Pictured is John (Russell's great grandfather) holding his grandson Howard Osmundson (Russell's father). Russell Osmundson, of First State Bank, has volunteered weighing in 4H livestock (steers, pigs & lambs) since 2007 to the present.     On St. Patrick's Day several of you may have went out for a drink to celebrate. Well, several ladies also chose to do that and have a little artistic fun at ArtSpot. Kathy Bagley of Bohns Bones Art Gallery hosted 10 ladies with a short tutorial on water color painting and techniques.
