Shirley (O’Brien) Jones, 81, went to be with our Lord on July 6, 2024, in Glasgow, Mont. Shirley was born on April 11, 1943, to James and Ethel (Nelson) O’Brien in Virginia. Shirley moved to Malta, Mont., at a very young age. Shirley married Marvin Jones on August 26, 1959. To this union four children were born: Shawna, Marvin Troy, Mark and Darcy. Cora Alice Nordby Maxie passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the Phillips County Hospital. Cora was born April 9, 1926, to Norwegian immigrants Soren and Margit Lee Nordby and joined her sister Ella on the family farm south of Dodge, N.D.
