Lee W. Williams

LANDUSKY- Lee W. Williams, 71, retired rancher/bar owner, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at a Billings hospital of natural causes.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 19 at the Landusky School. Cremation has taken place. Condolences for the family may be left at http://www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.

Lee was born June 9, 1943 in Malta, the son of William E. and Shari G. (Talbert) Williams. He was raised and educated in the Landusky/Dodson area. After his education he worked the family ranch for a number of years. He married Loretta “Letty” Mummey on July 15, 1967 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They purchased and ran the DY Bar, He worked in the Landusky mine and retired in 1986 following an accident. Lee enjoyed horses, visiting friends and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandkids.

Survivors include his wife Letty of the family home; daughter Virginia (Matt) Pankratz of South Malta; grandchildren, Tel Lee (Amber) Colburn, Jessica Marie Pankratz both of Malta; great grandchildren, Trafton and Scarlett Colburn.

He was preceded in death by his brother Les, parents and son Willie Lee Williams in 1983.
