June 6 offers many opportunities for excitement, entertainment and fun in Phillips County. In addition to the activities scheduled for Malta with the Car Show and Drag Strip races, the Dodson Speedway will be hosting a day of entertainment as well with the opening races of the 2015 season.

We hope that you will venture out and partake in the Saturday, June 6th race at the Fairgrounds in Dodson and make it the first weekend of three slated weekends for the tracks. It has always proven to be an event that keeps you on the edge of your seat and puts smiles on faces.

Make June 6 your first of three trips to the track....you won't be disappointed. See you there, amid the dust, speed and skill challenges. The 2nd go around will be during the 100th Anniversary of the Dodson Fair and the season closing event will be a benefit race with proceeds going to Tonya Messerly.
