One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of July 1, 2015

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Twilla Johannesen on the tragic loss of 15-year-old Kameron.

Patty Young, the Reichelts, Mrs. Ereaux and others attended a class reunion in Big Sandy. They said it was well attended and they all had a good time.

Dallas and Ashley Green and Jeanie attended a wedding for Jonathan Green and his bride in Great Falls.

A Centennial celebration for Cobblestone Ranch, north of Loring, was held by the Johannesen families. Sally Austin and I attended, as did many others from various places – there was a real crowd – with lots of food served under the big sky. Congratulations to the Cobblestone Ranch, 100 years is a long time.

There will be a Vacation Bible School in Whitewater on July 6 to 10 by the Baptists Church. It will be at Wishers residence. Then there will be a Tent Revival in the evening by a visiting pastor. Everyone is welcome and for information call 674-5563. The church bus will gather children if you call ahead.

Hail hit some crops, including Scott and Pat Anderson’s. Our sympathy to all.

The Andersons (Becky’s family) went camping at the lake. The report was “it’s fun, except for the mosquitoes.”

It’s a green and beautiful day, sunny, but we could also use some rain. Belated happy birthday to all June birthdays.

Have a good and safe July 4.
