REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES

Phillips County has been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) by the Montana Department of Commerce (DOC) to conduct a Preliminary Architectural Report (PAR) on possible site locations for a Senior and Transit Center in Phillips County. With the award of funding, Phillips County is soliciting proposals to hire a firm to provide architectural services to prepare a PAR. The PAR must follow the requirements set forth by the CDBG Program under the Competitive Housing and Neighborhood Renewal Application Guidelines. The agreement and payment terms will be negotiated with the selected offeror. The Preliminary Architectural Report must be complete by January 15, 2016.

The selected offeror will develop recommendations regarding possible improvements/expansion to the existing facility and identify alternate sites for the Senior and Transit Center which would allow for expansion. The final report must comply with the requirements of the latest version of the CDBG Preliminary Architectural Report (PAR) outline. The selection of finalists to be interviewed will be based on an evaluation of the written responses. The award will be made to the most qualified offeror whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to Phillips

County, all factors considered. Unsuccessful offerors will be notified as soon as possible. This solicitation is being offered in accordance with federal and state statutes governing procurement of professional services.
