Youth ATV Presentation

The Phillips County Farm Bureau will be offering Youth ATV Safety Presentations during the fair. Targeted age group 9 –12 year olds. Watch for times listing at the fair-grounds. 15-20 minute presentations. For more information call 674-7060.

Whist is held every Tuesday at 1 p.m.

The Bridge Club meets every Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Pinochle is held every Thursday at 1 p.m.

Friday Bingo

Bingo is played every Friday at 1 p.m.

Malta Trails Meeting

8-5. Malta Trails will be meeting on Wednesday, August 5 at 6 p.m. at Stretch’s.

Malta School District Special Meeting

8-5. On Wednesday, August 5, the Malta School District Board of Trustees will hold a special board meeting to approve the 2015-16 school bus routes. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Malta Middle/High School teacher’s workroom.

Elim Church worship and potluck

8-8 and 9. Elim Lutheran Brethren Church will be hosting outdoor worship and potluck August 9, 11 a.m. at the Buff picnic area of Camp Creek, Zortman, MT. Campers are welcome in the camping area on August 8, Saturday evening at twilight for camp fire singing and S’mores. For more information please call Pastor Steve Heppner, 406-390-0012. Kiwanis Meeting

8-10. Malta Dirt Daubers will meet Monday, August 10 from 11:30-1:00 at the PC Museum. Bring your lunch and enjoy a slide presentation of Jane E's trip to Ireland to attend the International World Flower Show. Guests always welcome.

Bison EIS public work meeting

8-10. On Monday, August 10, a public work meeting will be held starting at 5 p.m. in the basement of the Phillips County Library basement. The meeting will be to discuss the Bison EIS and share information in preparation for the August 19 meeting with FWP.

Malta Food Bank Meeting & Election

8-11. The Malta Food Bank will meet on Tuesday, August 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Senior Citizen Center in Malta. Business will include the election of one director for a four-year term.

Malta Chamber Meeting

8-11. The Malta Chamber of Commerce meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11 at the Great Northern starting at noon.

MT Veteran Affairs

8-13. On Thursday, August 13, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be in their new location at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you would like to apply for benefits with the VA please come at the appointed time and bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. Mustang Foundation Dinner

8-15. The Mustang Foundation Fundraising Dinner will be on Saturday, August 15 starting at 6 p.m. at the Tin Cup. Tickets are available from Board Members or by calling 658-2212.

Albertsons Picnic

8-19. On Wednesday, August 19, Albertsons will be holding their 15th Annual Community Picnic at Stockman Terrace from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sign up for Door Prizes, free meal provided.
