Public lands under siege by APF

Dear Editor,

Once again our public lands are under siege by the American Prairie Foundation. BLM and State leases are targets to be controlled by the APF for free ranging bison. These are not wild bison. "Wild" is being used as false advertising by the APF to collect money from environmentalists. BLM and DNRC must change "class of livestock" to authorize domestic/hybrid bison on public lands. Bison cannot be authorized on public land period. Bison are destructive to the range resource and to the wildlife habitat we have now. A fence will not contain bison and bison will destroy fences and go about anywhere.

Wildlife unfriendly fences would be constructed. What will BLM and DNRC do I fear they will try to roll over to the APF? Cattle are manageable and should be on public lands and we have multiple-use laws that include livestock(cattle)under the law. We do not want our public lands destroyed by domestic/ hybrid bison. We sure don't want wildlife habitat subject to continuous grazing by domestic hybrid bison. The AMP is a part of the World Wildlife Fund the largest anti-hunting organization in the world. Public meetings must be held again on this issue again and bureaucrat’s feet put to the fire on this issue. The APF will go after one cattle ranch

after another and the grazing on public lands. Without public lands, the APF will cease to exist. They advertise as well that they own the public wildlife resource false advertising again and a violation of law to collect money. It's time public meetings be held again and stop this takeover of public lands and anti-cattle ideology of the APF and WWF. Thank you. Sincerely,
