Deer season hasn't opened, I hope you missed

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of an approximately year- old doe hanging out on my property for the day - although she left every time I opened one of the doors she would return later. In the evening, a doe and her two fawns also came to visit. Often I find lay spots in the grass but this was the first time I was allowed the joy of observing them so close at hand.

Thursday, at approximately 7:15 a.m., I heard three shots in a row and then a fourth shot shortly after. I used the Montana Fish and Game website to see if deer-hunting season was open. No, still later in the year.

Guess it is easier to step out one's door and shot a deer wandering in the neighborhood then being a real man and hunt properly. Hopefully you missed!!!!!!
