Dottie A. Hendriks

Dottie A. Hendriks, 71, passed away peacefully August 22, 2015, at Hi-Line Retirement Center after a long and courageous fight with lung cancer, surrounded by her family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29 at 1 p.m. at the Buffs Campground in Zortman, Mont.

Dottie was born November 23, 1945, to Sam and Oma McTaggart in St. Maries, Idaho. She traveled in her early years with her father to numerous logging camps.

She met and married Ron Bartak and they had two girls, Teresa Bartak Rosi and Pam Bartak Lindgren.

Dottie met and married Ray Hendriks in 1972 and they moved to Montana in 1981. They settled in the Zortman area while Ray worked at the Zortman Mine until it closed. She fell in love with the area and all her friends in the community.

Dottie loved fishing, hunting and camping and she always out fished and out shot everybody else. She really loved all wildlife and nature. She always enjoyed spending time in her garden, she loved Country Music and she especially loved Charlie Pride.

She was an amazing, cook, mother, grandmother and friend.

Dottie was proceeded in death by her parents, sister, one grandson and a daughter.

Dottie is survived by her husband Ray, daughters Pam and Terry Lindgren, son-in-law Kevin Rosi, grandchildren Destinee and Chris Parker, Thomas Duncan, Mikayla Farrar, Savannah Farrar, Natasha Bartak, Melissa Rosi and five great grandchildren.

Dottie also had four brothers, Dan, Vern, David and Larry and two sisters, Betty and Karen which she loved dearly as well as all her numerous friends who became like family to her.
