The Bridge Club meets every Monday at 6 p.m.

Whist

Whist is held every Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Wednesday Bridge Club

The Bridge Club meets every Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Thursday Pinochle

Pinochle is held every Thursday at 1 p.m.

Friday Bingo

Bingo is played every Friday at 1 p.m.

Grace Fellowship Worship

Grace Fellowship is beginning its fall and winter times of worship on Sunday, with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and church service at 11:00 a.m.

Shelterbelt Workshop

9-23. The PC Extension Office and PC Conservation District will be hosting a shelterbelt workshop on Wednesday, September 23 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Dr. Anne Johnson’s clinic off of Highway 364. For more information call the Extension Office at 654-2543.

ServSafe Training

9-24 & 9-29. There are new regulations for food service in 2016 and there will be an eight-hour ServSafe class for food services mangers held in two, four-hour sessions on Thursday, September 24 and Tuesday, September 29. Both classes run from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. There is a fee for this class. For more information, contact the Phillips County Extension Office at 654-2543.

Irrigation District

9-28&29. The Malta Irrigation District office will be closed Monday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 29. Office will reopen Wednesday, September 30, at 7a.m. Questions, please call (406) 654-1440 or [email protected].

PC Community Foundation Planned Giving Seminar

9-29 & 30. The Phillips County Community Foundation is hosting a Planned Giving Seminar on Tuesday, September 29 at 7 p.m. and then again on Wednesday, September 30 at 7 a.m. (both seminars are identical) at the Lodge Room of the GN Hotel in Malta. Featured speakers will be Amy Sullivan and Curt Barnekoff (see more information on page 6A.)

The Holy Rosary

10-10. The Holy Rosary will be held at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Malta at noon on Saturday, October 10. For information contact Tom Golik at 654-2670.

MHS Fall Musical

10-12&13. Malta High School Fall Musical presents Parents Just Don’t Understand on Monday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 13 at 7 p.m. at High School Auditorium.

Tickets are adults $7 and students $5.

MHS Dinner Theatre

10-13. The Malta High School Dinner Theatre meal is Tuesday, October 13 6 p.m. in HS cafeteria. Please call Karen at 654-2002 to make your reservation. Dinner Theatre tickets are $15 single and $25 couple. Reservations are to be made by Thursday, October 9.. Menu is Short Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, Garden Vegetables, Appetizers and Chocolate dessert.

Cupcakes ‘N Canvas

10-17. On Saturday, October 17, the Art Spot in Malta will be holding Cupcakes ‘N Canvas “Pumpkin” Painting from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Malta Business Center. Tickets are $20 per person and children are welcome. Reservations required, call 654-1523 for more information.
