Phillips County Museum News for September 30, 2015

“Community” it is what has made Phillips County a great place to live for 100 plus years. Looking though our historic resources the pattern repeats again and again. A “ community need” becomes apparent and the people in Phillips County step up to the plate and donate hours, supplies, whatever it takes to meet the goal.

The PC Museum is host to many visitors throughout the year and in the course of business answer many travel related questions. Visitors staying overnight in Malta are looking for ways to fill their evening hours. The walking trail along the Milk River is a favorite.

Hats off to the Malta Trails Committee for a fun “Brewfest” but more importantly for once again meeting the needs of the local community and in addition filling a void for the travelers that stop in Malta. Phillips County – what a great place to live!
