M-ettes takes first in Dodson; Harriers take second
Freshman Tyrese Messerly has been a strong runner for the Dodson-Whitewater Harriers. He finished the Dodson Invitiational in tenth place with a time of 20.58.
The Dodson Invitational hosted by the Dodson-Whitewater Harriers was held last Thursday at the Dodson Fairgrounds. The Malta M-ettes and Dodson Harriers were the only full teams present.
The overall winner of the Girl's Varsity 3 mile race was Malta's Mystic Striker who ran the course held at the Dodson Fairgrounds in 20:09. Teammate Sophia Stiles earned second place honors with a time of 20:54. And third place went to Val Talks Different of Harlem who ran in with a time of 21:49.
