November 4, 2015

3:56 p.m. Male reported a mail scam.

9:28 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

11:36 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

November 5, 2015

2:59 a.m. Male reported an alarm sounding at a local business; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay and the alarm was reset.

8:15 a.m. Female reported an IRS scam.

We have been receiving calls reporting telephone calls with people claiming to be from the IRS. These phone calls are scams, if it seems suspicious DO NOT GIVE any information to the call. Ask for a call back phone number and call them back to see if it is who they are claiming to be. The IRS does not contact people via telephone.

8:15 a.m. Local MHP requested PCSO assistance with locating the owner of a disabled vehicle on Hwy 243, north of Saco; owner located and vehicle removed that day.

12:14 p.m. Local business requested assistance with a rental scam; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

12:57 p.m. NorthWestern Energy employee reported a cross arm and pole on fire near the Dodson School; no Fire Dept needed and fire shortly extinguished after the report.

9:35 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in Dodson.

10:24 p.m. Individual reported a possible break-in to their business; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay.

November 6, 2015

12:04 a.m. Deputy reported a vehicle in a storage unit area; all found to be okay; individual was just getting property out of their storage unit.

2:11 a.m. Deputy performed security checks around Malta.

3:57 a.m. Alarm company reported a burglar alarm sounding at a local business; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay and alarm reset.

8:00 a.m. Local MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:45 a.m. BNSF Police requested PCSO assistance with locating a vehicle that hit a crossing arm and left the area between Saco and Hinsdale; unknown direction of travel; information passed onto Valley Co SO.

9:22 a.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult male to PCSO to be incarcerated on Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges. ; male later released on bond paid.

4:05 p.m. Valley Co SO served a local warrant on one adult male male later released on bond paid.

5:48 p.m. 911 received reporting an erratic vehicle on Hwy 2, westbound towards Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and all found to be okay.

11:05 p.m. Deputy performed security checks around Malta.

November 7, 2015

9:19 a.m. Female reported a vehicle had driven through her trees; Deputy responded to the call; no damage to the trees.

9:21 a.m. US Customs & Border Protection Agent requested PCSO assistance with a driver headed south from the US/Canada Border; Deputy and MHP Trooper handled the call.

11:49 a.m. Male reported trespass to a residence in Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

12:39 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the playoff game vs. Huntley Project.

1:25 p.m. Deputy transported a juvenile from the Malta Train depot to PCSO to meet up with individual’s parents; juvenile was a runaway from Billings; case file started.

4:06 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible DUI on Central Ave in Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and all was okay.

4:21 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on a suicidal male in the Saco area; Deputy responded to the call; male located and was okay.

9:00 p.m. Female reported individuals ringing the caller doorbell in the Dodson area; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet.

November 8, 2015

12:48 a.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle south of Saco; information passed onto Deputy and local Fish & Game Warden.

1:44 a.m. Local tavern requested assistance with removing individuals from the location who were arguing; Deputies responded to the call; all individuals removed from the location and tavern closed for the night.

1:15 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the PC Courthouse for EMT training.

4:33 p.m. Female reported a lost key.

9:29 p.m. Anonymous reported a suspicious vehicle near the Sleeping Buffalo rock; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle not located.

10:21 p.m. Deputies performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2; all found to be okay, just keeping a juvenile from getting sick inside the vehicle.

November 9, 2015

3:05 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

3:15 a.m. Deputy reported a suspicious vehicle in the Trafton Park area; all found to be okay, individual was just sleeping inside.

4:01 a.m. Male reported an individual “spotlighting” behind his residence near Hwy 191; Deputy advised it was him removing brush from the Hwy.

12:25 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle fire in the Nelson Reservoir area; Malta Fire Dept responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

9:38 p.m. Valley Co SO requested PCSO assistance with locating a stolen vehicle from their area; unknown direction of travel; information passed onto Deputies.

9:46 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

November 10, 2015

10:11 a.m. Female requested a welfare check on a family member; all found to be okay, family member spoke to the caller shortly after the request was made.

10:50 a.m. Female reported a lost purse; caller later reported she had located the purse and all was there.

2:41 p.m. Local business requested law enforcement assistance with an item in their possession; Sheriff and Undersheriff handled the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

5:25 p.m. Male reported hitting a deer with his semi, west of Malta, on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; no damage to the semi and deer not located.

7:53 p.m. Deputy performed security checks around Malta.

8:33 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving cut water lines at the Sleeping Buffalo; Deputy handled the call.

November 11, 2015 Happy Veteran’s Day! Thank you to all of our Vets!

2:28 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle in the ditch, west of Dodson on Hwy 2; Deputy and Ft Belknap LE responded to the call; case file started.

3:22 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 4pm today until 4pm Thursday.

2:09 p.m. Male reported a deer missing hind quarters in the Wagner dump; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

7:02 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

10:22 p.m. Deputy performed security checks around Malta.

11:22 p.m. Deputy performed security checks around Saco.

November 12, 2015

2:58 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4pm today.

4:41 a.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle at a local church; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, vehicle was running to defrost the windows and belonged to a residence across the street.

1:32 p.m. Male reported possible trespassers on his property and they may be hunting; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

2:20 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with locating individuals that were hunting in south Phillips Co; Deputy, local Fish & Game Warden, CMR Officer and BLM Ranger advised of the situation; individuals later located and found to be okay.

2:38 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

5:04 p.m. Female reported a fender/bender on a residential street; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:34 p.m. Male reported a vehicle going 45mph and all over the Hwy, eastbound from Malta on Hwy 2; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle not located.
