Fish Fry Dinners

March. The Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry Dinners will be held on March 4, 11 and 18 at St. Mary’s Church Basement from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. each day. Takeout available, tickets at the door, children five and under eat free.

American Legion Auxiliary

3-3. The Malta American Legion Auxiliary will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, March 3 at 5 p.m. at the VFW Club.

Malta Dirt Daubers

3-7. Malta Dirt Daubers will meet Monday, March 7 at noon at the Tin Cup. After a no host lunch and meeting, Teri and Glen Sims will present a program on the benefits of organic farming and how it is done. The public is always welcome.

Malta School Board Meeting Change

3-8. The March School Board Meeting has been changed to Tuesday, March 8, with Work Session at 4 p.m. and the Call to Order at 4:30 p.m. in order to accommodate the High School Play and Dinner

Life Touch Pictures

3-8. Life Touch Pictures will be at the Malta Elementary School on Tuesday, March 8. Call 654-2320 to make a pre-school appointment.

VFW Auxiliary time change

3.9 The Malta VFW Auxiliary has changed its meeting time to 6 p.m. on a temporary basis. The next meeting is Tuesday, March 9, at 6 p.m. at the VFW Club.

March Walleyes Meetings

3-10. Malta Walleyes Unlimited will hold four meetings in March leading into the banquet on March 26. Those meeting times are each Thursday of March – the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th – starting at 7 p.m. at Stretch’s.

Malta Parks & Rec

3-14. The Malta Parks and Recreation Board will be meeting on Monday, March 14 at City Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

P.C. Historical Society

3-14. The Phillips County Historical Society will meet March 14 at 6:30 p.m. for its' regular meeting. The meeting will be held at the Phillips County Museum. All are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!

Sons of the American Legion

3-15. The American Legion Post #57 is hosting a Sons of the American Legion (SAL) meeting for those who are interested and eligible to become members on March 15, 2016 at the VFW at 7 p.m. More information will be provided at the meeting. Refreshments will be served.
