One Nation, Under God

Evert (Ev) Duvall

On February 2, 2018, Evert Duvall (Ev), age 46, suddenly passed away in Glasgow, Mont. at 7:56 a.m.

His memory will be carried on by by father, Mark Duvall, his mother Linda Monti, and her husband, Mathew Monti, brothers Duane Duvall, wife Trish Duvall, and Jeremy Monti. His sisters Valorie Duvall, husband Roy Putra and Brandi Duvall, husband Lee Foldesi.

Ev was someone that his family could count on. He was always the guy making sure that his loved ones were taken care of and happy, to drop everything and be by his brother’s side two states away within 24 hours. Ev was a loving and fun uncle. He was beside himself with excitement every time he heard a new one was on the way, even requesting more. Ev always said he never wanted kids of his own because he had all his nieces and nephews, and those were his kids too. He was described to be a bridge between his family members and a man with a huge kind heart in a world that could be very cruel. Ev was fortunate enough to have his favorite hobby also as his profession. He enjoyed cooking and creating dishes and desserts and the kitchen was his studio. All who knew him were blessed to have the opportunity.

Memorial services will be held in Landusky in the summer of 2018. The family will provide the details this spring and they will be posted at kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.

Brother

You gave no one a last farewell,

Nor ever said good-bye.

You were gone before we knew it,

And only God knows why.

A million times we will miss you.

A million times we will cry.

If love alone could have saved you,

You never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place,

No one else can fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you didn’t go alone,

For part of us went with you,

The day God took you home.

We will meet again someday

I know in a better place.

I thank God he made you our brother

While you were here on earth.
