In heaven mom is enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with her dad, mom, sister Doris, a niece and two nephews.

Thank you to Highgate Cottage and Stillwater Hospice.  Thank you to friends and family for your prayers and support.

Montana lost a shining spirit when Patricia Scott Black, went to heaven by way of Billings, Dodson, and Loring Montana. She leaves a legacy of two Montana cookbooks, a loving family, and thousands of special memories: She was the “sporty grandma”, always up for a game of poker, spoons, or “Horse”. She tormented her brothers with tricks, family trivia, and wagers (on anything). Pat baked famously good rhubarb pie and lemon bars, enjoyed a cup of coffee or glass of wine, could visit with anyone, and was known to hide silverware from guests at family dinners. Forever a Dodson Coyote, Pat brought the Montana Hi-Line spirit of counting your blessings--through thick or thin-- to every place she went and everyone she met.  We miss you every day, but will see you later!  Save us a piece of rhubarb pie!

Memorial Services were at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m., in Billings. Memorial donations can be made to Dodson Public Schools, Dodson, Montana.

We will all celebrate her life during the Phillips County Fair this summer and Pat would want you to plant red geraniums, her favorite, this summer. Scott Family, be ready for a trivia game this summer: Who are Punky Kelly, Ivar Johansen, Inky Poo & Me Too?!

Heights Family Funeral Home in Billings is in charge of arrangements and remembrances may be shared with the family online at http://www.heightsfamilyfuneralhome.com/obituaries.
