Asst. Sports Editor Wanted
The Yankton (S.D.) Press & Dakotan, a five-day-a-week daily newspaper, is seeking applicants for a full-time assistant sports editor.
The position will aid in covering a dynamic sports market that features an NCAA Division I college athletic program, national and international competitions in archery, as well as over 30 high school programs. The successful applicant will assist in the direction and completion of sports coverage, and assist with news coverage as needed.
Strong writing skills and sports knowledge are needed. Social media, page design, photography and video skills are a plus.

DEPUTY SHERIFF
The Phillips County Sheriff's is accepting applications to fill one opening for a full-time Deputy Sheriff. Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 12, 2021.
Duties for a Deputy Sheriff include crime prevention, investigating crimes, traffic patrol, drug interdiction, and other law enforcement related activities. Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
. Must be a United States citizen
• Must have a High School diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Montana driver's license
Must not have any felony convictions
• Must be of good moral character as determined by a thorough background investigation
Must satisfactorily pass a psychological examination and pre-employment medical examination.
Possession of current P.O.S.T. Basic certification preferred but not required to apply. If not a holder of a Basic certificate, within one year, will be required to attend and successfully complete the MLEA Basic course. Applicants will be expected to travel to Malta, MT, for the psychological examination and interview.
