Sympathy to the families of the gophers who have been shot in Whitewater, Loring, and other areas. I think gophers are cute and how do they harm the earth? Why not let coyotes get them. Then the coyotes would not kill sheep or other animals. I do not understand how anyone can think it is a sport to shoot and kill any animal. There are people in Whitewater area that shoot gophers.
