AMX Holds benefit race for Jaynes, Hould

On Saturday, June 12, 2021, the Dodson Speedway held their first race of the year and it was a benefit race for Michael Jaynes and Corrine Hould.

Both families are Speedway racers and the dollars generated are being split 50/50.

There were 8 stock car drivers that paid fees to race with the race being sponsored by First State Bank of Malta.

The rain received last week left the track with a few well placed water holes and the drivers quickly learned how to navigate around them as to not end up stuck in the mud.

Hard luck sponsored by Sid Hould Family was awarded to Anthony Jaynes of Stockett.

There was one driver in the powderpuff, sponsored by Western Styles Salon with Maria Brown enjoying her race, and there were 4 cars and drivers in the pitman race with Jamie Jaynes coming out on top and was sponsored by Liquor Haven.

B Main 2nd place was sponsored by Malta Tire and Tyson Jones battled for that slot, and 1st place was sponsored by Edgewater Inn with Luke Brown / Dustin Schwarzrock earning that win.

The A Main race had 2nd place sponsored by A Fine Line Auto Body and David Jaynes took that win.

The A Main 1st place was sponsored by First State Bank and Dustin McKinney from Great Falls managed the win.

The Super stock class was sponsored by First State Bank and Art's Furniture with no drivers in that class.

There were freewill offering jars set up at the gate and for the after the race chili feed with Luke Brown Family and Tom Kindle family contributing items for the meal. Many people donated silent auction items that people bid on with the end result of $900.00 each being given to the two recipients for their medical costs.
