One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, July 7, 2021

Every once in a blue moon I’m surprised by the random kindness that has come forth for no reason! I had a tourist come into the Great Plains who told me about her morning. She had a flat tire on the highway and a gentleman stopped to ask her if she needed help. He changed her tire and helped her get a new tire ordered. She was singing the praises of Bill Rock! I'm happy that she found a kind person to help her out! I hope that if I ever need help I'll have a kind person help me out!

Another kindness took place with my friend, Tina Russell. She was driving to Turner and got two flat tires. Denise Watkins helped her out by getting her over to Steve’s shop. He fixed both tires and suggested she drive on the pavement to go home. People being nice to others all over the place!

Sympathy sent to the family of Lola Matthews, who passed away in late June. Lola lived on a farm out here for many years. Also, our condolences to the family of Mary Hofer on her passing.

My flycatcher has hatched her clutch! I think there are five little ones. I love to hear her whirring song when she's coming to feed the babies!

I visited with Debbie Phillips in Malta one day this week. I always get a kick out of Deb! She wanted to make sure the I was vigilant during a thunderstorm. Speaking of thunderstorms, I did hear three thunders last night, but still no rain.

Really quiet in the town of Loring for the fourth! Kenny Clark’s family went camping in the Little Belt Mountains! Jeannie Schroeder and the girls were up over the weekend to visit Rod Stordahl and Grandma Dixie! I worked at the GPDM Friday through Monday! Emmitt Boschee, Patty Pollach and family spent the afternoon with Rod’s family. I think everyone else was at the lake!

Until next week, have a wonderful time.
