The 2nd annual Andrew Flansaas Memorial Run for Suicide Awareness and Prevention was held in Loring on Saturday, October 2, at 10:00 a.m.
This year's event had 22 runners, almost doubling last year's total, had a 10k run and a 5k run/walk.
Event organizer, Carmen Norville, said, "We had a really nice day for the run. It wasn't too windy."
The event had prizes given out for 1st and 2nd place in each of the runs, as well as a prize for the 1st place kid in the 5k.
Ava Handley took first place in the 5k with Matt Norville getting second place and Amos Blunt getting first place for the kids. C...
