One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, February 23, 2022

February is the month that the bald eagles and geese return north! I admit I’ve seen eagles all winter, this year but I suspect it might have been injured. On the trip to Billings I saw several bald eagles and a few ravens!

Loring Women's Club met at the Stordahl home on Wednesday with five ladies in attendance. Under discussion was the farewell for Tina and Charles Russell and we are to be thinking about what we want to do for the HLRC residents for Easter.

The Blunts spent the weekend at the wrestling matches! Etta and Amus both took fourth and Everette went 1-for-2. Sounds like a cool way to spend the weekend! Nana Carol attended on Friday!

Ruth and John Flansaas are happily seconded at the HLRC while John recovers from his hip replacement! We are all wishing them the best from out here in Loring!

Rodney Stordahl and I traveled to Billings to attend the baby shower for Rod’s first grandson and my first great grandson! I had several appointments on Tuesday. It is dropping a lot of snow down here.

Congratulations to both the Mavericks and Lady Mavericks on earning a trip to the Divisional tourney in Sidney! And the Malta teams as well are both going to the Class B divisional so congratulations to the Mustangs and M-ettes!

Mary Waters brought her mother, Marty Bandel, out to see me on Wednesday! I picked up Cindy Clark and we all went to senior meals in Whitewater! So nice to see a friend I haven’t seen for a while!

Have a wonderful week!
