One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, March 9, 2022

Wednesday evening 3/2 the snow started coming down while we were at Ash Wednesday services and dropped about 4 inches overnight! Then on Thursday, it picked up again and maybe a couple more inches! So needed!

On Wednesday I noticed that the dog was drinking from a puddle of water not frozen. When I went out to investigate, I had a leak in the pump house basement which made the basement a swimming pool! Just so thankful for Pete Lumsden, Jay Blunt, and Rodney Stordahl for coming to my rescue. The pipe had worn through a tiny crack in the metal which was spraying out water. The water was only shut off for about an hour!

Carol Lumsden rode to Malta with me on Monday to see her parents while I went to a meeting.

Bryt Clark was a guest of Ellie Norville on Saturday! Mylee Clark played in the pep band at the tournament in Sidney. Ryan spent the night at Nana Clark’s watching a movie.

The county basketball teams were represented well at Divisional tournaments. The North Country Mavericks are in a challenge game coming up on Monday. The Malta M-ettes took home the divisional first place trophy and are on to state in Bozeman next week. Good luck!

Rodney Stordahl went to Billings to visit his kids and see his grandson, Zayden. He reported that he’s cute.

I just looked out my window and saw about 20 antelope ambling by. And at the top of the hill, I can see several deer, too. Many Canadian geese have been flying by this week.

Be kind to each other!
