One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, June 8, 2022

On Wednesday Terri Cole went to Helena to visit family for a while and to attend a granddaughter's graduation.

Polly Solberg took Dora Henry to a Doctor's appointment in Havre on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday was a beautiful day--blue skies with lots of white clouds and very little wind; a little cool.

Dora Henry and Linda Vulk decorated several graves in the Malta Cemetery on Friday. The cemeteries looked very nice. Linda and Asher went home on Saturday after visiting Dora for a week.

Dora's daughter Teri Leys is home --Tired--but taking chemo treatments in Missoula for the next year.

Dora opened her door to find a skunk in her pet house on her porch. The city needs to start using their traps to protect the public.

Robbie Bear and family were mowing and working on their trailer and the Haubrick house; I see for sale signs on them.

Velyma Broadhead returned home Saturday evening after being away visiting family. Teri Cole also returned home after visiting in Helena.

We had a lovely rain on Saturday night. Should green things up more. I have poppies blooming in my front yard now. Sunday was cool and the wind was blowing a bit but it was a nice spring day.

Polly Solberg has been busy helping with the Jamboree, taking posters around, and doing other jobs. Larry Solberg did some mowing at the church and at Polly's. We appreciate all the ones who have helped around with the mowing, etc.

Dora Henry received word her nephew, Bernie Lake, a former Malta resident, is very ill with cancer. They now live in Osage, Iowa. They lived in Apple Valley, Minnesota for many years before retiring.

Glen Dolphay is digging to replace Ava Welch's sewer line as it has collapsed.

Happy Birthday, greetings to Dolores Shettel and Issac Williamson, and all others sharing a birthday this week. And congratulations to all having an anniversary----many more.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it sure beats a blank stare for starting a conversation.

Congratulations to all the graduates of the last couple of weeks and may you all succeed in whatever you plan to enter into.
