One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, July 13, 2022

In Loring we had two really big storms this week. The rain fell, the wind howled, branches cracked off, the shingles flapped! According to my resource, we got one inch and two tenths in Loring. Up on the Bench, the total from the two nights was 2.25 inches! It’s all welcome!

Last week I ran into an old friend of mine in Glasgow! It was so fun to see Billie Jo and her husband Wayne Norcutt! Have a great summer!

Jeanie Green celebrated the 4th of July with me at lunch. That evening I watched the Loring fireworks display from my deck! It was fabulous! Thank you, Kenny and the Clarks! Brytin Clark helped at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum on Saturday. It was the Everything Dinosaur Kids Day. Lots of kid's activities and then the Jurassic Park Dominion matinee! Cindy Clark brought Ryan in to go to the movie with Bryt! Thank you to our other volunteers also, Sommer and Rory Green, Aowin, and Alethia Austin.

Our day was a great success!

The sunflowers along the roads are blooming! Seems early to me but maybe not! The hay barley is being cut and baled for the next winter. We have more gulls this year, I think they are eating grasshoppers and gophers.

Have a good week, be kind.
