Notice of Meeting

The Saco School Board of Trustees will meet August 10, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. in the Library of the Saco School for the purpose of considering and adopting the Final Budget for Saco School District 12A & B. The meeting of the Trustees may be continued from day to day until the final adoption of the District’s Budget. Any taxpayer in the District may attend the meeting and be heard for or against any part of the budget. This notice is given per the requirements of MCA 20-9-115.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED FY22 BUDGET AMENDMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Phillips County, Montana intends to amend the budget for the 2022 fiscal year and that said budget amendment affects the following functions: general government; fair, alcohol rehab, aging, and sheriff retirement system.

The purposed amendment will be due to the unanticipated revenue received from the State, Federal and other sources due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other grants. Details are open to public inspection in the office of the County Clerk, 314 S 2nd Ave W, Malta, Montana.

The Board will meet on the 8th day of August, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing and consideration of the amendment to the original budget. Said hearing is to be held in the Commissioners’ Office in the Phillips County Courthouse, 314 S 2nd Ave W, Malta Montana.

Any taxpayer or resident may appear at the hearing and will be heard for or against any part of the proposed budget amendments.

Written comments are encouraged and will be reviewed by the Commissioners if received by the Phillips County Commissioners’ Office at least three business days prior to the hearing.
