Munsick Set to Rock Fair Concert

Songwriter, entertainer, and upcoming talented artist, Ian Munsick will provide the Friday night entertainment at the Phillips County Fair. The longest continuous running fair in Montana, the 107th Phillips County Fair opens the gates on Thursday, August 4.

A native of Wyoming, Munsick brings a performance to connect to, please and entertain a crowd with original lyrics – everything from Blue Grass to the Beatles. Ian, his band, and his family travel coast to coast all year long with the intent of pleasing the audience.

Influenced by the Beatles, Ian will also entertain with uplifting and upbeat renditions of 60's R&B and 70's Rock and Roll. Ian stated his goal is to "entertain fans and keep them on their toes!" His choice and decision to enter the music world and dynamics is strongly supported by his Dad, brothers, and wife to live his dream. One of his youngest and biggest fans is his two-year-old son. His manager is his wife, so the music industry is truly a family venture for the twenty-seven-year-old.

Ian began his career with his Dad and brothers, playing in Story, Wyoming at the age of eight. In an interview, he stated, "I remember hitting the tambourine on my head...I'm sure we sucked but I made $20 that night and I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life". It is amazing what a $20 bill in the hand of an eight-year-old will do for inspiration.

Munsick perceives himself as a progressive artist with an old soul. He pours his heart into the stage performances to please the ranch and working crowds. With fiddle music combined with energetic and lively guitars adding to the evening air, there is bound to be excitement to be enjoyed - putting a lift in your heels and a toe tapping.

Munsick will follow the opening act from Billings, MT., "Counting Coup". The band brings a blend of voices, instruments and talent to the stage with another fresh and renewing spirit of energy. The young talented band, early in their career, are aiming to delight fellow Montanans with their array and blend of sound. Both entertainers can give you an insight into their talent by going online and searching for them.
