Harvest is in full swing around here. The crops are short but at least there is grain to put in the granary. The weather was very hot with a hot wind but then cooled off on Saturday. Just perfect weather for the Phillips County Fair! I went up to Dodson for entry day and again on Saturday for breakfast and to check out the exhibits. Kudos to the Fair Board for making lemonade out of lemons with the total destruction of all the display areas and grandstand. The area looked very nice.
