One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, August 24, 2022

Polly Solberg was visited by a nephew and his wife, Joe and Barbara Schafer, of Richland, South Carolina. They are traveling in a motor home and have been on the road for two and a half months, having started out on Memorial Day and have made it home now.

Thanks to Bonnie Lankford for mowing boulevards on Thursday. She did the whole street; the help was appreciated and was a surprise when I stepped out and it was all done.

Richard, and Tammy (the former Solberg) and Luke Singler of Staten Island, New York visited with Polly Solberg and the Bruckner’s on Tuesday August 2, before heading home to take Luke to college for the fall term.

Polly Solberg, Dora Henry, and Diana Foote were in Havre for the day on Monday. The Foote's will soon be leaving to return to California for the winter.

Although the days are still hot, we have been having some pretty cool nights. We will soon be into fall weather for sure.

To everyone having a birthday or an anniversary, our congratulations and good wishes, enjoy them all.

At 13, my son Scott had his first date. At the end of the evening, I asked him if he felt grown up now that he'd taken a girl out. "Not really,” he said. "Especially when you know your mother has recorded it in your baby book,"

Have a good week and good luck to all the kids going back to school this week.
