Third and fourth-grade students of Deserae KillEagle’s class in Dodson shared their support and pride in our military with brief messages and letters.

In a letter to the editor, Donald Green, Sr. shared how his great-grandson had shown up one morning, “jumped out of the pickup on the run shooting!” He managed to shoot a coyote 75 feet from the barn of sheep. Donald has lived here since the 1940s and never saw one this close.
