Underground Sprinkler System Maintenance bids are being sought for the 2023 summer season for Malta Elementary and Malta Middle School / High School. Interested contractors may obtain a bid sheet from Jana Moran in the Central Office of the Malta Middle School / High School.

Please call 654-1871, if you would like one mailed to you, if you aren't able to pick one up. Proposals are due by Friday, April 7, 2023 by 3:00 P.M. in the Business Office of Malta High School.

TOWN OF SACO

PUBLIC HEARING TO APPLY FOR CDBG GRANT FUNDING

The Town of Saco is giving notice that it is holding a Community Needs Assessment Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 5:00 pm in the Saco Town Hall, 110 Nelson Street, Saco, MT 59261. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comments regarding the Town’s overall community development needs (public infrastructure & facilities, economic development, and housing), including the needs of low and moderate-income persons. The Town of Saco will also seek the views of citizens on the activities that should be undertaken to meet the identified needs and their relative priority. The Town may apply for funding from the Montana Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program (federal funding administered by the Montana Department of Commerce) and other state and federal funding sources to address housing, public facilities, or other community needs. The Town wants its residents to comment and offer suggestions for projects to address the most urgent needs. Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing by April 12, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. This hearing is rescheduled from March 15, 2023, postponed due to weather.

Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Changes to Commissioner Districts and Voting Precincts in Phillips County

The proposed changes to the Phillips County Commissioner Districts and Voting Precincts will be on file in the office of the Phillips County Clerk & Recorder and open for public inspection to all taxpayers.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Office, Phillips County Courthouse, 314 S 2nd Avenue West, Malta, Montana, a public hearing will be held to receive public comment on the proposed changes to the Commissioner Districts and Voting Precincts due to the changes in population after the 2022 Federal Census and redistricting adjustments made by the MT Legislature, at which time any resident of Phillips County may appear and be heard for or against any part of the proposed changes.
