One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, April 19, 2023

Nothing quite compares to waking up to the spring birds singing! Lots of robins, meadowlarks, red wing blackbirds just to name a few! The melting snow water has slowed down running through my yard. But still plenty of snow to melt. All the low spots are full, and it makes us all smile! I saw six swans flying north on Friday!

Rodney and I spent the weekend in Billings. Rod’s daughter, Saige, was baptized on Sunday. I visited my sister, Debbie, and her son’s family and had supper with Brentton, Abby, and Zayden! I stayed at David and Brandie’s, so I got to see most of my family!

On Wednesday I drove over to Whitewater for senior meals. I was very surprised by the amount of water over the Whitewater bridge! I drove through it slowly! The flowing water is tricky because I want to go with the flow, which is not safe!

Connie Wasson hosted Bible study on Wednesday evening. Carol Lumsden, Whitney Blunt and I attended.

Congratulations to the musicians in the Whitewater school! The district music festival was held in Poplar and every piece earned a superior! One duet got a perfect score! Bravo!

The track team is getting in a few meets and the athletes are doing well!

Lu Besel and I went to Havre for an eye appointment! We had lunch and ran into an old friend of mine. Linda Hoover lived across the road from my family when I was growing up! We rode bikes to each other's houses to play!

See you next week!
