Dirt Daubers, Kiwanis Decorate Oak Barrels Throughout Malta

Recently members of the Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club, assisted by volunteers from Malta Kiwanis, decorated 50 oak barrels located throughout down town Malta.. Each barrel received a colorful birdhouse setting near a small white picket fence decorated with spring flowers. The birdhouses and white fences had all been painted by members as a special project to beautify Malta. Later, as weather permits, colorful petunias will be placed in the barrels.
