One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, May 31, 2023

Rain! Rain! Rain! What a gorgeous color green! Some reports of 3 inches altogether this last week! The sweet peas and lilacs are blooming, the grass is growing, and the birds are singing!

David Stordahl made the trek up to visit. We drove over to Turner Cemetery and stopped at the Turner Bar and Grill. Then we went into Malta to visit relatives there.

On Wednesday the Whitewater school held their awards ceremony. Cindy Clark, Carol Lumsden, Patty Pollack, Cassandra Harms, Kelly Wasson and I were in attendance. It was the last day of school.

Congrats to the Whitewater Penguin tracksters on their performance at the state track meet!

Fran Compton, from Florida, her sister, Tam and niece Raleigh of Texas are here visiting.

Fran’s on her way to Alaska, and Tam and Raleigh are revisiting the Compton place here in Loring. Other visitors to Loring on Sunday were Ron and Cindy Scott and guests.

Heartfelt sympathy to the Murdock family on the death of Bill. Many people attended the services at the pavilion in Malta.

Have a safe summer!
