One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, July 19, 2023

Greetings from The Home of the Whitewater Penguins/Mavericks. We have beautiful singers and musicians and the hardest workers and best cooks in the county!

Yes, I still live here in Whitewater and plan to stay here until they take me away in a box!

Also, Whitewater does not have shootings and violence like so many cities.

Today our weather is perfect! It is about 70 degrees, no wind, and a perfect day!

Enjoy the nice weather!

We had a busy week here in Whitewater. The Baptist Church had Vacation Bible School, also a tent revival. There were about 20 people from South Carolina and the Phillips County area. It was very nice.

The South Carolina people camped out here in Whitewater. Thanks to the Hellies for mowing my lawn and to the South Carolina people for mowing too. I have the perfect lawn.

Also, thanks to Patty and Steve Young for 2 beautiful tomato plants.

Thanks to all who shared food/ or meals with me. All were very good. It is good to take care of your neighbor. It is nice to have good neighbors like these.

Reminder: North 40 is closed until 5 p.m. They open early on Wednesday for the Senior Meals, that is the only exception. The North 40 has the library too.

Jason Hellie is building a shop for Adam Hellie on the farm. Jason is a hard worker.

Well, folks are preparing for the fair. Good Luck to all on the fair entries.

Helen A.
