One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, July 26, 2023

We have had a few days of very hot weather making us aware of why we were not looking forward to it. Supposed to cool down a few degrees but will still be warm.

Polly Solberg visited in Malta after church on Sunday. There was not much movement around Dodson in the extreme heat, making it a little over 100 for three days in a row by some thermometers.

They are at work at the Fairgrounds, putting up bleachers and all the other work of getting ready like every year. Hot work! Hope they have a nice turnout and everyone enjoys themselves.

Steve and Judy Henry were up to visit mom, Dora, for a quick visit and to help her for the day. Good to see them.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday to Deserae KillEagle and all others having a birthday or anniversary this week.

A feeble, elderly woman, all hunched up and using a cane, limped into a doctor’s office. Five minutes later she came out, walking erect and without a limp. A guy in the waiting room asked,” Gee, what did the doctor do? You’re doing just great.” The lady replied, “He gave me a longer cane.”

Have a good week, enjoy the fair, take care in the extreme heat, and enjoy yourselves.
