Sawicki Wins Big at National Powerlifting Competition

Halle Sawicki (age 14, of Billings, along with six others (all ages) from Montana, competed in the National Powerlifting Competiton in Las Vegas Nev. on Thursday, July 13.
Sawicki, the grand-daughter of Lanny and Jeanne Icenogle of Saco, obtained two World Titles in Squat and Deadlift and another World Title in Bench Press. To obtain her tile in Squat, she lifted 346 lbs. For her Deadlift title, she lifted 396.75 lbs and for her title in Bench Press she lifted 181.9 lbs.
She also placed third in deadlift amongst competitors aged 14-40. She was the youngest competitor in the competition.
