Calvin E. Kolczak "Pete" passed away in the morning hours of July 20th, in the home of his loving daughter, Jan Emerson. He spent his final days in the company of his daughter and his granddaughter, Marrin.
Pete was born in Landusky, Montana on January 29th of 1933. He remained proud of his hometown throughout his life. He worked in the mines and was a diesel mechanic. He had many skills that he used over the course of his life to support his family, which was the most treasured part of his life. He married Agnes in 1952 in Mullan, Idaho, and they shared nearly 70 years together.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dora and Aloysius; siblings, Tom, Jerry, Evelyn, Ruth, John, Anita, and Diane; his children, Calvin Kolczak Jr., and Yvonne Gard; as well as the love of his life, his wife Agnes (Morin) Kolczak.
He leaves behind his brother, Ralph; his daughters, Jan Emerson and Christine (Tracy Hardy); his son, Michael; as well as his grandchildren Ryan (Stephanie) Kolczak, Erin Kolczak, Charles (Christy) Kolczak, Akasha (Kyle) Latray, Cody (Elizabeth), Marrin, Evyn, Riley, Robyn, Bella, Aspyn and Lulu Kolczak-Hardy and his great-grandchildren Michael and Samantha Kolczak, Dominic, Hailey and Isabella Latray, and several nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Pete witnessed his family and legacy grow through his loving family. He was proud to be a Montanan and a reminder of what Montana has always been. He was 90 years old and had a wonderful, long life. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be on August 5, 2023, at 1 P.M. at the Landusky Cemetery with lunch to follow at the Landusky Community Center.
