M-ettes Hold Cancer Event

The Malta M-ettes, assisted by donations from the community held a Breast Cancer Awareness event at the Saturday volleyball games. Funds raised from the Chinese Auction, sale of t-shirts and baked goods sale amounted to $3,100 which will go to the family of Courtney Hellie and Thora Prellwitz.
The crowd from Malta and Wolf Point were dressed in pink, the players had pink hair ribbons and the cheerleaders replaced their blue pom-poms for pink ones for the evening.
A small community, Malta has always been big in heart and generosity. They didn’t fail on Saturday.
