One Nation, Under God
October is winding down with most of the calves sold and shipped. Volleyball is in the postseason tournaments and basketball will be starting soon! All the little goblins and other spooky beings will be out and about in a few days!
The Loring big screen movie night was another success! Cindy Clark reported that it was a small crowd but still enjoyable! Isn’t it great to know that all the work that goes into putting on a special event is still appreciated?
Whitney and Jay Blunt have been chasing the little jamboree basketball teams this last weekend. They played in Lustre on Friday and Frontier in Hinsdale on Saturday! It’s fantastic how the parents follow their little ones! And I’m sure the kids like it!
I have an eye appointment on Wednesday. I’m hoping to get some answers about why I can’t see very good.
The skunks are still around the Loring area. Buster got some new perfume. I think Cindy has been setting her live trap for coons, but it would catch a skunk also!
Snow was the word for the week in the weather. Lots of icy roads. But the moisture that was in the snow was wonderful and hopefully still in time to help the winter wheat!
