One Nation, Under God
Happy Thanksgiving to all! I'm in Loring as I write this, but I’ll be back in Billings to have Thanksgiving with my kids and grandkids! I’m so thankful!
Just as God promised, things come together as He sets out. Right now, I am having trouble with my left eye. I just can’t see the way I should. So, I don’t drive because it’s scary to not see correctly, right now. I think it’ll be figured out when I have my next tests. But anyway, Nancy Murdock wanted to see Mannheim Steamroller in Billings. She called and asked if I wanted to go with her...duh! Of course! She stayed overnight with me after the great musical treat! And we drove home the next day! I wanted to see Cindy’s final sermon at Loring Lutheran so that worked out! Rod will take me back to Billings on Tuesday!
We stopped at Grass Range and this man said to me, “Hello, Dixie how are you?” Of course, I couldn’t tell who he was, but he said Mark Halverson! Oh my gosh! I hadn’t seen him since the Science Expo days! He’s a retired science teacher! But also, Ross, his brother, was with him!
Ross’s wife Debbie was one of David’s teachers in Whitewater! So, we had a visit in the parking lot before we took off north again!
For church, Carmen Norville brought her kids out to celebrate. We all had brunch after church and also celebrated Pete Lumsden's birthday!
The crescent moon is visible in the evening with Saturn very close. Remember Saturn is a gold color. The brightest planet is Venus in the east before the sun comes up. This is a great time for meteor showers so if you are out in the darkness look up!
I hope that all my readers have a great Thanksgiving!
