PCN Brings Back Memories for Glasgow Reader

Dear Editor and PCN Readers:

I've been putting this off for some time and the time has come.

My sister, Shelley Dunbar, after reading the PC News, has instructions to save those papers for me and sends them down via her or my brother, Jim.

I can then read at my pleasure after a hard day of playing pinochle. After l read them I pass them on to my friends, Betty and Gene Sipe (former residents of Malta (he was Bowdoin Lake Manager, Betty worked at JCPenney who also enjoy each and every issue, but...

The articles that are written by Kari Hould are spot on.. Every one that she writes is not only interesting, but comical at times, depending on the subject. It's always informative such as one of her latest writings "Remembering November 22, 1963.. I do recall that day, where I was and what I was doing. I was working for Willis McKeon, our county attorney, upstairs in the First Security Bank building, having lunch at the counter in the Great Northern Hotel coffee shop, which was run by Eddie Taylor (she was the head cook and bottle washer) and Hank Paulson who ran Paulson's Appliance Store came running into the coffee shop and announced that the president had been shot! It was a shock to us all. I remember it as if it were yesterday. Thanks Kari for a great article which brought back a lot of memories for me in my younger years.

I enjoy her writings in each and every issue and look forward for more to come.

If it weren't for her and Pierre Bibbs, with his writing about his family and his travelling escapade news there wouldn't be much to read in the paper. Accolades to each of them on their articles. Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,

Sherry(Sintler) Richardson

Glasgow, Mont.
