Chamber Holds 2024 Putt Crawl

"The game was on" and they came with a grip and a grin to participate in the 2024 Putt Crawl sponsored by the Malta Chamber of Commerce. Seven teams geared up and made the trek from six different bars in an attempt to get the best score in the event.

Three individuals, from three different teams, scored a hole-in-one at the VFW challenge. Mercedes Simanton, Jennifer Green and Justin (JP) Paul showed their skills and impressed the others and set the bar high. Paul said the course was the toughest one of the evening.

Besides the VFW, courses were set up at the Blue Ridge Brewery, Tin Cup, Stockman, Lucky Bullet and the Mint.

Selected as best dressed for the occasion was the team, "Hole in Nun," and members of the team were CJ and Karey Bishop, and Jesse and Kayla Young.

The team, "Grip it, Rip it" ended up with the best score of the evening, with Jake Stuart, Dean Yeardon, Justin Paul and Renae Heiseler.

The teams enjoyed the evening of grins, smiles, laughs and a few tears...all in the name of supporting the local chamber and the community. Thanks for the fun evening. See you next year!
