FWP to host bear awareness meetings in Chinook, Havre, and Zortman

Topics will include safety tips and minimizing conflict

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will host a series of public meetings on bear awareness, including how to minimize conflict. The events are open to the public, and area landowners are encouraged to attend.

Chinook: Saturday, May 18, 3-5 p.m. at Blaine County Library located at 112 4th St W.

Havre: Saturday, May 18, 7-9 p.m. at the Hill County Electric Building located at 2121 US-2 in the Hospitality Room.

Zortman: Sunday, May 19, 12-2 p.m. at Zortman BLM fire station, 1 mile southeast of Zortman on Bear Gulch Road.
