Young Man Takes Responsibility, Makes Impact

On the evening of May 16, 2024, there was a knock at our door. There stood a young teenager asking if he could borrow our broom and dustpan. Pretty odd request for a young man, about the age of 13 or so. My sister asked him why he needed the broom and dustpan. He said, "He was riding his bike on 5th Street West and dropped a glass bottle of pop". He wanted the broom and dustpan to clean his mess up. So we gave him the requested items and he proceeded to sweep up the glass from off the street. He put his bike in the middle of the street so no one could run over the broken glass. He...
